Welcome to the official SEFANN website.

Our local chapter of NANN was established in January 1994 and is a local leader in neonatal nursing education and community service. South Florida neonatal nurse professionals join SEFANN for the latest developments in the field as well as to enjoy networking with the community of Neonatal nurses from Dade, Broward and the Southeast Florida area.

Our members volunteer and sponsor events to raise money for the March of Dimes organization. We also have an annual Christmas toy drive for underprivileged children in South Florida.  In 2008, SEFANN donated toys and gifts to children being served by the Salvation Army, Project Angel Tree.
                                                                                                      SEFANN recently hosted the 13th Annual Hot Topics in the Tropics Neonatal Nursing Conference March 12-13, 2009.   This year the conference was held at the Elk's Club on SW 72 Street in Miami.
This two-day event featured up-to-date evidence based practice information and topics. Both locally and nationally recognized speakers  presented topics of interest to neonatal nurses.  SEFANN is a Florida Board of nursing CEU provider and was able to provide 15 CEU's  in nursing for those who attended this 2-day conference.

SEFANN meets every other month at 6:00 PM in one of the South Florida area hospitals. One CEU credit is awarded to members for attending these dinner/lecture meetings.
